Hook’s Helping Hands was set up in 2016 as a local, family run service to help anyone who may be struggling. Our vision is to be able to help as many people as possible to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes. We have a number of support workers helping us to make that vision a reality.
Sometimes, all it takes to do this is a helping hand with the chores, or a friendly, familiar face popping round for some company.
“Having worked for a carers charity in the past, it became clear to me that this is the type of service that people are in need of. At the age of 29, I decided to set this service up, to give something back to the community, not only in my home village of Nettleham but further afield too.”

“Being an experienced, keen gardener and having had jobs which involved assembling and fixing products, this is a perfect job for me. I get to help others whilst doing something that I love. My wife (Vienna Hook) and I strongly believe in this service and getting as much help out there to people as possible.”
