Daily Home Help

Hook’s Helping Hands are now able to offer Home Help. This is an exciting new service that we have added, to enable people to stay in their homes independently, for longer.

As our service is growing with a number of support workers, so too is the help we can offer and that is something that we are very proud of at Hook’s Helping Hands.

Depending on your location and our availability, we can visit you for a minimum of an hour for up to 5 days per week!

This can be to get you your shopping, pick up prescriptions, do basic meal prep, report back to family members with any concerns, light cleaning chores and general companionship.

An hour gives us the chance to spend that quality time focusing on what your specific needs are. This could work well alongside you already having a carer who might not have the time to do the other duties listed above.

This type of help can also leave family members feeling reassured that someone is coming in to check on you, perhaps on a day where they cannot get to you.

Unfortunately we don’t offer personal care at this time (toileting and showering.)

Need less frequent help? We also offer help for general services if you don’t need support on a daily basis.
