A Helping Hand Can Go A Long Way

In just a few hours, Hook’s Helping Hands transformed this room into a clean and tidy kitchen.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I turned up for the next cleaning job on my list, I was gobsmacked to put it lightly. But I had come here to do a job and that was exactly what I was going to do! The elderly gentleman living here was very apologetic for the state that the house had been left in, but unfortunately as he lives on his own, it had all got the better of him.

I set to work and approximately three hours later, the ‘after picture’ was taken.

My client looked equally as gobsmacked as he walked into his new kitchen as I had walking into the house! He was very grateful and kept saying that I was a star for managing to do this.

I continued to visit this client twice a week to keep on top of the household chores, which has helped him feel more at ease in his own home.

We hope to be able to help more people like this who are struggling to live on their own, sometimes a helping hand with the chores is all that is needed.
